Although I still like it (mostly because of it's price) i can honestly say the build quality is incredibly poor. The hop-up is extremely inefficient and the mags are some of the worse I've ever seen. Heck, out of the 3 mags that i bought, 2 were dead on arrival and the other one died shortly after.

Replacement valves are cheap (although hard to find) but the ZAMAK alloy that the mags are made out of fails after screwing in one or two valves. It will eventually fail even without replacing valves, simply from the pressure.

Given that no-one else sells decent gbb mp5 mags (maruzen ones are just as worse) the toy is pretty much useless. I'll probably reinforce the mags myself but I doubt that will hold for long either.

You will need to make sure the bolt is in the rear position every time before you attempt to shoot since the G55 fires from open bolt.

As with all gas magazines, to fill them properly, invert the magazine so that the fill valve is facing up then insert the nozzle of your green gas or propane tank and fill for 2 to 5 seconds. If you listen closely, there should be a quiet(er) hissing noise that will wind down as the magazine fills.

hey i got this gun for a gift and it works pretty well. i am confused however. How do you know when the magazine is completely filled with gas? i know there is talk about there being a gas leak in the mag, i want to know if there is anything i can do to prevent that and do you have to cock the gun every time you want to shoot?

I had a very important question about that little spring. I happened to also lose it into the void of... not a workbench, but my carpet. I found it but I have no idea how to put it back in. Please get back soon! Thanks!
