If I had read this sooner, I would've never bought the darn thing. I tried to fit in my Ares M4A1 2011 version with no luck. The oversized wings that you mention are really oversized. BTW this hopup and the Ares are very similar, except for the oversized wings. I still haven't fixed the problem. Still contemplating on what to do.

I will personally say if you have a 2 pice hop-up? fialing down of the gun will have to be done. i went thru this wit my stag15 by echo1. heard this hop-up was legit....proved me wrong. I had to trim small perts of the lower receiver just to fit this into place & not only that. BB's would not feed into the chamber so i had to take a wire brush to take care of that due to the tracer unit mount a few metal bars wer sticking thru....not only that but where they shaped the inside close to the knub? i had to fial that down as well....So far after that what happend next? the Bucking is stopping the bb's from continuing thru the barrell....so i had to trip a little off the bucking.....im giving this an overall rating of - 2.
