Interesting Finds on Mojji/Sanken

A quick look through the Sanken order guide today revealed a couple of interesting finds!

Laylax (nineball) have released for order some very interesting new slides for High-Capa tuners today.  Their ad heralds the coming of the new ‘fish-bone’ and my personal favorite, the ‘whale-riser’ slides.

lay090207 These new slides should keep more original Hi-Capas rolling out from its large and loyal fan base, and at 5,500 YEN MSRP ($60.23 US Per Oanda), they are quite reasonably priced.  Look for these in shops in about a month.
Also, it appears that Tanio Koba is releasing a PFC (Plug Fire Cartridge, or Model Gun) Springfield GM-7.  This appears to be releasing to shops at a wholesale price of 35,000 YEN ($383.29 USD per Oanda).  Quite spendy, but nice if you’re into model guns. tkoba090203
lay090203 Finally, a giant ‘WTF’ category release from Laylax again;  Your very own Sanken Ads for M16s tastefully printed on- A T-Shirt!  At 2000 Yen ($21.93 per Oanda), you can show the world that you’re a nerd.  Who knows, maybe they’ll find a good deal just looking at your shirt!

WE: Gas Blowback SCAR on the Horizon!

Speaking of SCAR Madness, it looks like WE are getting set to capitalize on their recent GBB rifle success by adding another model to their lineup.  You guessed it!  A SCAR!

VFC: New Releases

VFC has posted some new releases for January.  These include a new SCAR variant, the SCAR-H SSR (which appears to be a DMR style weapon) and a standalone kit for one’s EGLM Module.

Spartan Imports: Auto-Blowback System and P90 Midcaps released!

A bit of news from Spartan Imports (Classic Army’s U.S. Distributor).  Seems Classic Army has jumped onto the ‘blow back bolt’ band wagon, and released a line of M15A4s with a working bolt and bolt catch.

Tokyo Marui Limited Rifle: Golgo 13 M16A2

News from Tokyo Marui’s site today about a new limited edition AEG, the Golgo 13 M16A2 rifle.  The rifle appears to be just a bog standard flat-top M16 AEG with a scope, a cheekrest, and a nice aluminum carrying case.

Golgo 13 is a long-running Japanese comic about an assassin who completes many of his tasks with the rifle that Tokyo Marui’s AEG is patterned after.  More on Golgo 13 can be found here.

Tokyo Marui is releasing this new AEG on March 13, with an MSRP of 69,800 Yen ($780.51 USD per Oanda).  Quite a hefty pricetag, but limited edition rifles have never been cheap.
