Ares has a few new products on its ‘Coming Soon’ page. All of these feature a gas blow back action and can run on either Green Gas/Propane or CO2. First up is a replica of the Barret M82A1 .50 Caliber Sniper rifle. The page claims that this replica will be available in Airsoft, Paintball and pellet rifle versions. This is a very interesting choice in my opinion, but if you can make 3 products while re-using most of your parts, it makes sense.
Next up is a replica of the Walter WA2000 bulpup sniper rifle. This gun has been exceedingly hard to come by in airsoft, so let’s hope that Ares it able to bring it more into the mainstream. The WA2000 will be available in both Airsoft and pellet rifle versions.
Finally, not to be left out of the gas blow back M4 party (which currently includes WA, WE, G&P and KJW; did I miss anyone?), Ares is releasing their own GBB M4. It looks similar to the other products currently on the market. Only time will tell if Ares has included any features that will entice people to buy this over their competitors’ products.

- Our friends at Bioval have let us in on a secret…they are opening THE Marui distributor and service center in the US soon. Once they give us the date and location, you will be the 1st to know. Also, the Bioval BB’s are getting restocked in the US around the 2nd week of April so start checking your retailers. WooHoo, let the soul-stealing resume!
- Big news! Crosman has announced a partnership with some major players in the airsoft industry, including Classic Army. They will be selling the CA sportline model under the Crosman name and they will be offering the Blamo marker BB to all of their outlets (hmmm….) We’re working up some in-depth questions and are interested in seeing what they have to say.

- Chris is back in the reviewing seat and he brings us some gems this show. Chris covers the new Classic Army M4 A.B.S. (Blowback) and we give it a 6/10. We also review the tan marine CIRAS replica plate carrier from ebaybanned. Not bad for the price so we give it a 8/10 for the non-geardos and a 4/10 for the geardo crowd (cause it isn’t real). In the last few weeks, a deluge of Galil news has come out. Not to be left behind, LCT has released a Galil as well, with an M60 thrown in for good measure.

Airsoft-News.eu has just posted pictures of an upcoming new AEG, a Daewoo K2 by Toystar;
Toystar is an older manufacturer who has made alot of interesting stuff in the past. The K2 is a rifle used by the South Korean Army, which was designed as an improvement to the US M-16. More details as they come!
